Blueberry Trials

Purpose of trial:

To test how effectively Bio-N fixes nitrogen on hydroponic blueberries.

Nitrogen was applied to the substrate via drip fertigation.
The drained water that washed out, was tested for nitrogen levels.
The difference between the above figures, provided the amount of nitrogen "consumed" by the plant.
Blueberry yield was not tested.

Products applied:

MegaGro produced substantial levels of plant-available nitrogen, to satisfy all the plant needs to the point of providing substantial excess.

MegaGro block showed 43,8% higher NH4-N levels than control blocks and was the only block able to produce its own source of plant-available nitrogen.

Conclusion: MegaGro can be used as a sustainable means of nitrogen fixation.
